A new range of Matt Bronze door furniture from Denleigh proved a big hit with leading interior designers at the Society of British and International Design’s (SBID) annual networking event on 24th October.
Held at the Grosvenor Hotel, London, the event enabled delegates to experience some of the most creative, design-orientated products around, in the run up to the society’s prestigious International Design Awards - a key event in the design community’s calendar.
Leading design groups from the UK, Europe and North America such as Martin Kemp Design, Hill House Interiors and Harriet Hughes attended the event. This gave representatives from Denleigh the opportunity to showcase some of the eye-catching designs from its Deprémo and Denvivo ironmongery and bespoke doors collection. Specifiers were able to touch and feel the quality of Denleigh’s products first hand and were hugely impressed with the designs on offer.
Matt Bronze in Vogue
Of particular interest to delegates was Denleigh’s newly launched Matt Bronze range of door furniture. Designers loved the tone and finish of the range and the option to integrate it with bespoke feature doors featuring, for example, exquisite custom stains or metallic inlays. Oil Rubbed Bronze, a finish available in the Denvivo range, was also popular.
According to many of the senior designers’ present, warmer brown-based hues and metallics are becoming an increasingly popular choice for the interiors of premium homes, especially given they can be easily integrated with different design schemes, from the traditional to contemporary.
The new President of the SBID, Tom Marquardt, also met with senior consultants from Denleigh and was impressed with the Matt Bronze range and the fact that all ironmongery, from handles to knobs, hinges, levers and latches is available in exactly the same finish. As an internationally respected leader Tom’s innovative work with interiors, interdisciplinary design and branded environments has been recognised for over 30 years.
Bespoke feature doors
Alongside ironmongery Denleigh displayed some of the bespoke door veneers available, which together provide designers with a total solution for any project. Denprémo doors are hand-crafted to suit either contemporary or traditional settings, with a multitude of veneer, stain, sheen and inlay options.
