What are the regulations?
Approved Document Part Q of Building Regulations states that easily accessible doors to new properties or those converted to residential use are secure; the qualifying criteria being that they have been tested to PAS24 or an equivalent standard.
Our door design underwent a series of stringent independent tests to assess its resistance to different forms of burglary attack. After passing with flying colours, the door was certified to PAS24:2016, the latest version of the standard.
What designs are available?
The doors are manufactured to order at our factory in the UK and are available in a range of attractive designs, from two panel to six panel. Options include flat or raised and fielded panels, and bespoke mouldings. Shown below are some examples but click here to view the full range.

Glazed doors come with 24mm P1A toughened glass panels and we can also add sidelights to either side of the doors, to help draw in plenty of natural light! There are six popular paint colour options, which cater for most tastes, or the door can be painted to the clients preferred colour at an additional cost.
What other standards are the doors tested to?
Our doors are CE marked and built to BS EN14351-1:2006 standards. In addition they are tested and certified to the latest weather performance standard EN 14351-1, meaning that can be relied upon to provide year-round protection from the elements whatever the weather. A test report can be supplied on request.
For further confidence the product comes with a 10year warranty.
